Tammy Faye Starlite/Nico

My second stop on Monday was the Cutting Room, New York City, to see Tammy Faye Starlite channeling Nic0 (Velvet Underground).

On the heels of her recent Pittsburgh performance of Nico/Chelsea Mädchen under the auspices of The Andy Warhol Foundation, Tammy Faye Starlite brings the much lauded performance piece back to The Cutting Room every Monday evening in June with performances Monday, June 3 at 10 PM, Monday, June 10 at 8 PM, Monday June 17 at 10 PM and Monday June 24 at 8 PM.

The Who

Last Thursday I volunteered to take photographs for The Who. They were playing a benefit at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, the recipient being the Teenage Cancer Trust. Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend had agreed to do this with the VIP Meet and Greet individuals. I

The Mint – Los Angeles

Spent Saturday night with some friends at The Mint in Los Angeles. The Mint dates back to 1937 and has hosted acts such as Taj Mahal, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Macy Gray and Bonnie Rait amongst many others. Fabulous small club with great sound and good food.

I was there to see some New Orleans musicians , Paul Sanchez, The Tin Men and Jon Cleary, quite a evening of jou jou and cajun sound….

The Scottish Adventure

Arrived into London on Sunday morning and transferred to Euston Station for the 5 hour train ride to Glasgow – Indian food at  some friends house then the jet-lag kicked in…Picked up the rental car on Monday and off to The Killiecrankie Hotel
